Megan is a New York state licensed and National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) board certified acupuncturist. She earned her Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Megan uses a variety of healing modalities including acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, qi gong, and nutritional therapy. She applies a unique treatment plan for each patient, addressing the root of the condition, and working with her patients to achieve sustainable health and well being.
Megan's passion is in women’s health, as she specializes in fertility, gynecological conditions, hormonal imbalances, symptoms of pregnancy, PMS, and menopause. Megan has had the pleasure of treating women struggling with infertility to conceive children naturally, and also has used acupuncture to maximize the result of western procedures such as IVF and IUI. Megan has experience in clinics both in California and New York, including the Labor and Delivery unit at Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn where she provided support, assistance, and relief through acupuncture, acupressure, and massage to women in labor. Megan holds additional certifications in Facial Acupuncture and Reiki energy healing.
Outside the world of Acupuncture, Megan earned her Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Integrative Medicine at Ithaca College. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places, running, hiking, gardening, cooking, and cherishing moments at home in Long Island with her husband Rory and their adorable dog Hotah. Megan is excited to be a part of health and healing in the community.
