Over 20 years ago (yikes!), she left a career in education to stay home and raise a family, and although raising her children was the most rewarding, fulfilling, and life-changing event for her, she did lose a bit of herself during those years.
She struggled with low self-esteem, weight gain, and lost sight of her own mental, physical and spiritual well-being. She faced imbalances in her overall life and suffered from anxiety, unhealthy living, and was not living or enjoying her best life. She fought through fatigue, self-imposed negativity, stomach issues, and overall lack of joy.
Realizing that she was missing out on so much in her life due to not feeling the best mentally and physically, she let go of all that did not serve her (negativity, toxic relationships, and behaviors) and sought inner peace and overall balance. She embarked on a journey of transformation and made some lasting lifestyle changes through self-care, meditation, and exercise. Loraine’s path to becoming a health and wellness coach taught her that we are all resourceful, whole, and unique individuals who are wonderfully able to decide what is best for ourselves and to make the changes we need to ensure that we are living the very best version of our lives. Oftentimes, health is defined as the absence of illness, but overall wellness means so much more and it encapsulates all areas of our lives that make us who we are.
